Scholarships for Optics, Photonics, and Imaging Continuing Education Classes
We offer scholarships for a series of short courses in optics, photonics, and imaging (OPI). Courses have been offered at the University of Rochester and RIT and in this final year of funding there is one course being offered in summer 2016 at RIT. The scholarships are being made available through a grant from the Employee and Training Administration (ETA) in the US Department of Labor. Funding for these scholarships is in its final year. The ETA grant is part of a multi-agency grant program that promotes advanced manufacturing jobs creation in regions having strong industrial clusters. The Rochester program is the called the Rochester Regional Optics, Photonics, and Imaging Accelerator, or RRPA for short.
Please check back shortly for more information about Summer 2016 courses.
