Upstate Venture Connect
October 2, 2018
Paul Ballentine has been nominated for a 2018 Upstate Venture Ecosystem Award! The Venture Ecosystem Awards recognize individuals and organizations who have made an impact on the Upstate NYS venture ecosystem. Paul was nominated as a Community Catalyst for his work launching the Light & Sound Interactive conference. The award ceremony will be held October 2, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Oncenter Convention Center in Syracuse, NY. AR/VR Initiative
October 1, 2018 |9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The University’s AR/VR Initiative hosted a day-long, joint meeting on October 1 with RIT faculty interested in this field. The goal was to help identify potential collaborations and partnerships. Approximately 90 attendees heard pilot project presentations and engaged in break out groups around visual, audio, platform and application aspects of AR/VR.
